Femme Fatale?

I created this for an artist's market at my university that I'm applying for. I had recently learned about the prevalence of the femme fatale archetype among the Art Nouveau movement and, to be perfectly honest, it frustrated me. I've never liked that trope, and linking it to the social issues of the time (women working outside the home in larger numbers and fighting for suffrage) did nothing to endear it to me.

So, I decided to try to turn it on its head while emulating stylistic aspects of Art Nouveau. I looked at Toulouse-Lautrec posters for reference while doing the lettering.
